MARK LOTKE
Managing General Partner

Mark Lotke is the Managing General Partner of Harmony MENA. He is also the Founder & Managing Partner of Harmony Partners, a highly differentiated venture capital firm in New York that makes expansion-stage investments in high-growth software, AI, and tech-enabled services companies. Mark has been investing in technology companies since 1993, founding Harmony Partners in 2010, and currently investing out of Harmony Partners VI L.P. He began his venture career at General Atlantic and was pre-IPO Managing Director at Internet Capital Group (ICG). Prior to founding Harmony, Mark led the software group at FTV Capital. Over the past 30 years, Mark has invested over $1.5 billion in more than 125 tech companies, including Alation, Anaplan, Arctic Wolf, Axonius, E*TRADE, Iterable, Klaviyo, Natera, Postmates, Predictive Systems, Priceline, Squarespace, SS&C, Swiggy, and UiPath. Mark received a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating summa cum laude with a dual concentration in entrepreneurial management and finance, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

H.E. Moosa Al Hashemi serves as a General Partner at Harmony MENA where he co-leads strategic initiatives to connect and empower top software and AI minds of the MENA region and U.S. He is also the Co-CEO of MH Innovation, a trusted MENA go-to-market platform delivering curated, best-of-breed software/AI solutions, providing enterprise grade implementations across ministries, government agencies and leading MENA corporations. Additional Moosa serves as a strategic Partner at Gratiya. Moosa’s impressive career history includes significant leadership roles, such as CEO of the International Humanitarian City (IHC), the world's largest logistics hub for humanitarian aid. He also held strategic leadership and executive positions with Expo 2020 Dubai, Manazel Real Estate, and Emirates Airlines, and played a key role in innovative initiatives within the Executive Office of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Recognized both in the MENA region and internationally for his thought leadership, Moosa is a most trusted MENA advisor and impactful innovator. He holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Colorado and an MBA from the Swiss Business School.

Eric Meyer serves as a General Partner at Harmony MENA where he co-leads strategic initiatives to connect and empower top software and AI minds of the U.S. and MENA region. He also serves as Co-CEO of MH Innovation, a trusted MENA go-to-market platform delivering curated, best-of-breed software/AI solutions, providing enterprise-grade implementations across ministries, government agencies, and leading MENA corporations. With over 30 years of experience in MENA, Eric has cultivated deep trusting relationships and served as Chairman & CEO of Shariah Capital. Previously, he was Executive Chairman of Dubai Shariah Asset Management, a $200 million joint venture with the Dubai Multi Commodity Centre in collaboration with Barclays Capital and BlackRock. Before his work in MENA, Eric was a founding General Partner at Meyer Duffy Ventures and MD Strategic, software-centric investment funds, where he successfully invested in enterprise software companies from seed to IPO, including Predictive Systems, MicroMuse, and Riversoft. He was recognized as an "emerging force" by Forbes and an "innovative creator" by the Wall Street Journal. Eric holds a BA from Middlebury College.

Clemens Baumgart is a Partner at Harmony Partners a highly differentiated venture capital firm in New York that makes expansion-stage investments in high-growth software, AI, and tech-enabled services companies. He joined the firm in 2016 and was named Forbes 30 Under 30 in Venture Capital in 2019. Over the past decade, Clemens led Harmony's investments in Alation, Coderabbit, Gradle, Halcyon, Mercury, Offerfit, Pepper, Streamsets, and Wonder. Prior to Harmony, Clemens was a consultant at McKinsey, advising clients in technology, healthcare, and finance. He began is startup and venture capital career in Europe at Rocket Internet and Project-A Ventures. Clemens earned his Bachelor's Degree in Finance and his MBA from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany.

Ahmed Al Hashimi
Head of Investor relations

Ahmed Al Hashimi is Head of Investor & Strategic Government Relations of Harmony MENA. He is also the COO of MH Innovation, a trusted MENA go-to-market platform delivering curated, best-of-breed software/AI solutions, providing enterprise grade implementations across ministries, government agencies and leading MENA corporations. Before his current leadership positions Ahmed held key roles in business development and human capital development at prominent UAE institutions, including ADCB, Vedera Capital and Emirates NBD. He also served a government-sponsored media & TV presenter and influencer. Ahmed has also lectured at Abu Dhabi University, where he taught undergraduate law students. Ahmed holds a master’s in international business from American World University and a Bachelors in banking from American University of Dubai.
